"His parents are very excited and delighted that he is a page," a spokesperson for William and Kate told People in a statement published April 14. "It's something that his parents have thought long and hard about and are very much looking forward to — and I'm sure George is too."
George's participation in the role will also be groundbreaking, as the prince—who is second-in-line to the throne—will be the youngest future king to have an official role at a coronation, according to The Telegraph.
He is one of Charles' four Pages of Honour. Camilla's Pages include her grandchildren Freddy Parker Bowles, Gus Lopes and Louis Lopes, as well as her great-nephew Arthur Elliot.

The official invites for the ceremony were unveiled April 4, featuring beautiful spring imagery and the lily of the valley, which served as a subtle tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September 2022.
"The Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla," read the card, which was sent out to 2,000 guests. "By command of the King the Earl Marshal is directed to invite [guest] to be present at the Abbey Church of Westminster on the 6th day of May 2023."
